Unfortunately, in the spring of 2022, I was injured and had to undergo bilateral knee reconstruction surgeries.

These surgeries, along with their rehabilitation therapy sessions, forced me to have to make the decision to take off the 2022-2023 school year. It’s been a long hard journey, but I learned so much about myself during it, and for that I am thankful.

Finally, after a year, I have been released to return to finish the optician program in the fall of 2023.
